Mr Dragan Slijepčević was born in Sarajevo in 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo in 2004. From 2005 to 2007, he completed his traineeship at the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo.

Upon passing his bar exam in 2007, he worked as a legal associate and advisor at the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo from 2007 to 2011.

Through a decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was appointed prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo in January 2012.  Between 2012 and 2024, he was assigned to the General Crimes Department, and subsequently to the War Crimes Department where he served as Head of the Department for the last two years.

Through a decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina he was appointed prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2025.

In March 2026, the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected him as a member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
